The Cubs lead the league in spring training attendance, for the past three of four years breaking the all-time MLB spring training attendance record. Over 175,000 fans attend Cubs games in Mesa, on average 12,000 per game. Please join us in March 2010 for the 3rd annual Fergie & Friends Celebrity Baseball game produced as a fund-raiser by Fieldworks for the Mesa HoHoKam and the Ferguson Jenkins Foundations. This game features Hall of Famer Ferguson Jenkins and a group of sports celebrities, playing against an "Arizona All-Star" team. As a partner, you and your clients will not only receive VIP seating (and/or suite accomodations) at the game, private celebrity meet & greets, and autograph memorabilia, you will also have the opportunity to be on field playing in the game! | Old World Oktoberfest | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This is an authentic German Oktoberfest - produced by volunteers from the Arizona Center for Germanic Cultures. They bring in a band direct from Germany, serve only German food and beer (plus soda and water) and stage an event that looks and feels like a traditional Bavarian Oktoberfest. Along with music, food, and drink there are a variety of fun contests - Polka contest, Costume contest, Beer Stein Holding, and Sauercraut cooking - and fun activities for kids.
This event attracts people from all over the valley, primarily in the 25-55 age range many with their families. It's a fun, non-competitive environment where you can talk to your prospective customers one-on-one. | Donate to charity while supporting a fun, educational event for the whole family. Proceeds from the Rotary River Rally go to children's charities in Tempe, primarily to help homeless children and education. This alcohol-free, family event is produced entirely by volunteers from the Tempe Rotary Clubs and other local businesses.
